The University of Strasbourg offers a particularly wide range of areas of study, covering all major disciplines:

Arts, Literature and Languages: applied and fine arts /design, cinema / dance / theatre, languages and cross-cultural studies, languages, literature and culture, applied language studies, French language and literature, music, language sciences and linguistics.

Law, Economics, Management, Political and Social Sciences: business administration / accountancy, public administration / territorial communities, law, economic management, journalism, management / commerce, mathematics / economics, political sciences.

Social sciences and Humanities: archaeology / history / art history, geography / development, philosophy, psychology, education sciences, social sciences, sports science, theology.

Science and Technology: chemistry / materials science, mathematics, computer sciences, physics, engineering sciences, life / environmental sciences.

Health: dentistry, physiotherapy, medicine, speech therapy / orthoptics, pharmacy.

The courses are mainly organised around three diplomas: an undergraduate program leading to the bachelor's degree, a graduate program leading to the master's degree and a postgraduate program leading to the doctorate.
